why do weathermen get paid so much to utterly fail at their jobs? they have failed to predict the weather accurately the past 3 days, and probably will fail this weekend as well. i'm not even talking temperature, though they failed at that as well. but i mean, how hard is it to know if it's going to be raining vs sunny? if you predict sunny and 85 ( Read more... )

So I just finished reading Atonement, by Ian McEwan. I wanted to read it before I saw the movie, even though it is out of theaters now. I really liked the book, though I thought it was very sad. I was just wondering if anyone else had read it, and if so, what were your thoughts?

i think one of my biggest pet peeves ever is people who don't clean up after their dogs on the street. in boston, along with most cities, it is a law that you must clean up your dog's poop when you are walking them. usually this doesn't affect me, since i don't have an animal, but lately it has become a problem in the most annoying way ( Read more... )

we're having a slumber party tonight at my apartment! yay! ice cream sundaes, brownies, disney movies, and not a drop of alcohol. after last weekend's party, this is just what i need.

i heart disney movies. little mermaid here i come.

so chris and i went to see "in bruges" last night. i'm not sure yet if i like it or not. it was very dark, and i found myself wanting to laugh at really inappropriate moments. it was very well shot, and i actually liked colin farrel in it, which is a change since i have never liked another movie he was in. all in all, still don't know how i feel ( Read more... )
