I haven't logged on to livejournal in over 2 years. I haven't posted since I lived in Sicilia.

Well, not totally goodbye. I've done this for over 6 years now, but I pretty much only come on to check how Sarah and Keri are doing. I will more than likely limit my posting, but I'll check on you two.

I just may have this CDC job in the bag. Here come colds, flus, and other virus. I just can't wait to start making some money, though. Then I won't feel so bad when I sign up for some Italian classes soon!

Two years ago, I was sleeping on a sofa in the new living room. I awoke around 730am to the sound of the howling wind, rain, and crackle of lightning. Katrina.

Two years later, I am sitting in the Navy Marine Core Relief Society office, volunteering as a receptionist. I live in Catania, Sicily.

Mike and I are having a great time together, just not much socially. Partially because we live so far away from everyone else, and partially because Mike just isn't that motivated, we spend most of our weekends alone.
