My family got some good news today, my dad who is down in the Orleans/Jefferson area working for Cox Communications swung by my parents house uptown and the house is fine. There was no water in the house and the house was not hit by looters. My dad tried to swing by my apartment to go check it out but he has not been able to get closer than a block ( Read more... )

So after much thinking my mom decided it best for me, her, Kristine, and Jeffrey to move to Texas for a while. We drove from Arkansas to Hammond, La yesterday where we stayed at my dad's brother's house for a night. Still stuck here in Jonesboro, I am debating on what our nect move is. We have three options, we can stay here for a while, go to my uncle's in the middle of nowhere in Texas, or stay here for a few more days then head to my uncle's house in Hammond. I am so happy after about two weeks of no internet access at my apartment it just started randomly working again. All I had to do was unplug and plug my router back in, which by the way has been done before a million times to try and fix it but for some reason it worked this time. It has been a while since I last updated been pretty busy lately. Not boring anyone with those details. Here's a quick update, I got a black cat on Sunday, she is so cute, but evil, her name is Sammich. Yes she has a weird name but blame my roommate.
