I just want one day that I can watch movies and read all day long with no interuptions, possibly followed by a good night out with friends and a few drinks.

Amélie has caught a virus. We are going on day 5 now. It's awful. It started with vomit and quickly added diarrhea to the mix. Starting last night she has refused to eat or drink anything. and another woot! We just got preapproved for a townhouse. I honestly didn't think it was going to happen. Somehow we lucked out.

(perhaps it would feel better if I actually had some sort of diploma to show for it....) oh well.

Is anyone thinking about going to the U2 concert?? It's not until Sept, but tickets go on sale on Sat. I have never seen them and told myself next time they come I would go. This would be a much easier decision if tickets were not 50-160$ BEFORE the ass raping charges of ticketmaster. blah.

Just updating my icon since Christmas is over and all. This is one of the many adorable pictures Tricia took for me. Andy decided he wanted to play around in photo shop with it. So thanks to both of you.

On another note, I went to the White House yesterday and all I can really say is 'eh'. The Hope Diamond at the Smithsonian was pretty sweet

Amélie has learned her first word. It's 'hi' simple and cute. She walks around the house waving and saying hi to everything. However she won't share this cute little discovery with others, seems whenever we are not at home she clams right up, hardly ever more then a peep.
