Does he like baked things? [because if he really likes her cookies he'll really want to recognize her as a legit country right?]

Um...I guess? He more likes making people eat the stuff he bakes.

Maybe one of these cookbooks will have something on scones...

Oh! That's a good idea!

I was thinking of getting him a cookbook but then I thought he'd probably think I was making fun of his cooking.

Fuck, seriously? He never told me!

Yeah, me neither! I got France to tell me!

...Oh, wait, unless it was a big trick or something.

It kind of sounds like something Frankie would do... But Sat's as good as any other day, I reckon.

What're you getting him?

...No idea.

He's the worst to buy stuff for. He hates everything.

... Fancy meeting you here.

Did you run out of burgers?

[staring intently at a pair of hedge clippers, before seeming startled]

Oh! England! What a coincidence it is to be surprised seeing you here!

That's what I said.

What are you buying? I didn't know you gardened.

Oh, yeah, I...I get these to mow my lawn with if I don't want to use a lawn mower!

What are you getting here?

[Bree can be found in the general store as well. She's only spoken to America on the phone, so she doesn't recognize him, naturally. That doesn't stop her from greeting him, though.]

Good afternoon. It's...a fine day for shopping, isn't it?

supersizedpower April 20 2011, 14:03:44 UTC
Oh, yeah.

[He's been looking really hard at a pair of plaid rainboots.]

Kinda. I'm shopping for like, the worst person to shop for.

[...this sounds kind of like fun. Bree moves over to look at them, too.]

They can't be that hard to shop for, can they? And I hardly think they deserve such ugly boots.

Well, he has no taste at all and likes really, really ugly stuff.

But he'll also hate anything I get him if I'm the one who picked it out, but he'll be mad if somebody else picked it out for me.

Oh, hi!

Not exactly. I'm trying to find a present for somebody.

"What kind of person?"

He's a big jerk who hates everything, especially stuff I picked out, and has no taste at all.

He likes to cook so maybe I thought I'd get him some cooking stuff, but I can't figure out what I could get where he wouldn't think I was making fun of him.
