I think it's very distinct to each culture and now it seems to be dividing a country which Kerry claims is Bush's intent since he has nothing really important to say for his election... but I digress. As a true liberal, I really don't think it's the it's the government's place to decide how and who people love as long as no one is being hurt in the process. People argue that legalization would open the door to ploygamy and other "alternative lifestyles" and I don't necessarily see that as a terrible thing. A lot of the folks in Utah made polygamy look bad because they used it to get welfare and all this other junk. I think polygamy is not the way God meant for people to live, but not everyone believes what I do nor do I have the right to tell them what to do. I was never prouder to be from Massachusettes as I was on the day that we legalized gay marriage.

I was never more ashamed to be an American as I was on the day that Bush backed a ban on gay marriage.

Democrats Rule! Republicans... can suck my clit!

Be free to live and love and be happy.
