The Tailor of Baikonur

At a recent social event involving brotherriparius and his sidekick ornithorhynque (though I'm fully prepared to acknowledge it may be the other way around), you know, stuff happened, but ultimately the important thing in all that fribbity-frab was that I received numerous compliments upon my wardrobe, both on the day of said event (the phrase "you clean up good" came up more ( Read more... )

I saw pictures. I prefer you in your regular garb. It has more character.

There's something iconic about your look that transfers everything you need to know about Bob directly into the subconscious.

Normally I would agree, however, they told me that the theme was 'Reservoir Dogs', and that, I could respect. In fact I called dibs on the title of 'Mr. Blonde' and in those pictures... well, at least the ones where we're walking... I tried to channel Michael Madsen. :)

Ah, well, if it was a theme wedding...

Why wasn't anyone covered in blood? Or dressed as a one-eared cop? Sounds like the wedding was a total failure.

I was actually pondering coming as Nice-Guy Eddie but those running suits are actually kind of expensive. Also I offered to cut someone's ear off and I believe one of my cousins was eager to volunteer but it was decided that such a suggestion probably wouldn't get past the Moms Veto.

And, actually it wasn't a wedding at all, so you couldn't say it was a failure as a wedding. :) It was a 'commitment ceremony', as I am told that Lisa can afford neither to be off of her dad's insurance nor to attach Andy's credit rating to her own.

Indeed. I saw those last year too. I regret not getting one. I really liked the witch one a lot. In fact, I took a photo of it, such was my fondness.

The witch one would be great for Halloween. It'd be like having a costume without the pain of having a costume!

It is one of my favorite shirts! I said it was my favorite in the post above but actually I remembered there's one other, that I bought when I was at Universal Studios with thog, in fact: it's the Masters of Evil, only it's the particular incarnation of the Masters of Evil that later became The Thunderbolts! So only another comics fan would get it. :)
