I don't get people who friend me and not put me on their friend filter. It's just slightly upsetting and disappointing when I go to nudge someone and it tells me that they've updated this week or in the last two weeks and I can't see anything since a month or so ago ( Read more... )

Hello! I sometimes make private posts of lists for myself just so I don't forget stuff, so if you *happen* to be referring to me (paranoia), don't think you're being excluded.

I have been slack lately, but will hopefully update (non-privately) soon. Thanks for the nudge. :D Who are the bearded men smooching in your icon?

I wasn't talking about you, Rach. I make lists for myself too. Mostly things to do for school so I don't forget. I'm very careful with who I friend. It's just that feeling when you go to nudge someone and it says that they have updated recently but you can't see that they have. It makes me feel very rejected because I spill my guts out in here sometimes and I allow those people who exclude me to see my said guts.

Sometimes I make specific filters for certain people to see or not see.
I'm also a lazy updater as of late.

Yeah, again with the safety net reply of JUSS IN CASE YOU MEANT ME, YOU KNOW, which I really hope you don't btw, but you did nudge me recently so? Anyway, people say this to me ALL THE TIME. And I feel like a huge jerk because I post little things to myself that I want to get to telling people and then I kind of throw it altogether and actually post it and I think everyone must think I'm filtering them out. We're all just too lj savvy for our own good, I guess. I have no friends filters but for one I use to read my key journals when I'm in a hurry. I mean, I get why you're upset about it, but I'd be kind of upset if you thought I was somehow keeping you out of my entries. I keep my flist short and specific for a reason, yo.
