Good god, I'm behind. Apparently, life goes on even while I'm on vacation. Shocking, I know.

Spent a week in California and met insipidnight. Twas quite fun indeed, though most people insisted that the subzero sixty degree temperatures would make me ill. I'd love to see those people rough out a winter in Chicago, or someplace even colder

I never noticed before how utterly anticlimatic the new year really is. Honestly, it's nothing special. We could celebrate midnight every night for all the difference it makes.

srsly. I don't know why I bother pretending to be excited. But, then again, I sorta am excited -- finishing junior year, SATs [yuck], new Harry Potter book (lawl), etc.

Zomgg me too. The past two years, I've made the resolution to write more, and have failed thus far. :/

1. Get back to writing.

Mmhmmmmm. I'm going to try -- but this year, I'm not going to stress out / have high standards (like 2,000 words/day = no).
