I'm developing a deep appreciation for the band Songs: Ohia. Their music is somewhere between folk, alt. country, indie, and classic rock. Neil Young comes to mind, but they’re a lot slower and a lot sadder. they're not one of my favorite bands and I haven't listened to them a whole lot since freshman year of high school or so. A friend burned a mix cd for me with a few of their songs, including Tigress, the song that particularly charmed me.
