So I'm sending the writers here.

I wrote a list of about thirty of these once, but you've managed to cover most of the main points very nicely.

Don’t write ‘this is a stupid summary’, or ‘I don’t know how to write summaries’ in your summary! If you can’t write a summary, what hope do we have that you can write an actually fic!?

My particular thoughts has always been if you can't be bothered writing a summary, I can't be bothered writing. If you think your story sucks then I'm not interested either.

I don't usually read over at 'the site that must not be named', but every so often for a bit of stress relief I go and leave a bit of strongly worded concrit.

Heh. My sentence about 'write an actually fic' is SO badly worded. Must change that. I was typing franticalyl, trying to get all my annoyance out.

I go to 'that site' when I've run out of all over fic possibilities.

So far, 4 people. Not that they're responded to my lovely, warm, friendly reviews of their fics, with the nice, handy pointer over in this direction. Not that I'd expect them to.. but I wish there was a way I could tell if people were actually reading it. Lol.

another rule: Warn people if it's going to be some goofy crossover!!!!

I was just reading a Firefly fic that seemed to be pretty good until mid-way through the 2nd chapter and I find out it's a X-men crossover. WTH? Give me some warning please so I don't have to read it!

I'm in the process of trying to sort out my first fanfic, so these rules were a big help! ^_^
And I was wondering if you knew of any good lj communities for Doctor Who fanfic that you could point me to?
