I live in three places.

I really miss being close (geographically) to my friends. It's very strange to go from living with your best friends or knowing they are a short drive away to realizing that everyone is quite far and busy.

Everything should (and does) seem trivial compared to the suffering in Haiti.
I can't even imagine the suffering, it is literally unthinkable.

I also can't imagine a better way to spend $10.

 One of my favorite things about working in a hotel is watching people come and go. I love even just the idea of travel. But at the same time, working there reminds me of all the other things I'd rather be doing. I get to sit and stare out a huge window. But only stare.
