I agree about Fantasia TOTALLY. But JPL and John Stevens were not going to win the competition. I chose to face facts. I voted for Diana. I want her to win now judging her performances as a whole.

yeah.. i know there's no way that either of them will/would have won, but I would have preferred to see JPL another week rather than John Stevens.

My fav. that I hope wins now is Jennifer Hudson.

I'm mad because JPL shouldn't have gone before John Stevens, like above, I know neither will/would have won but I would rather see JPL stick around another week or two rather than John Stevens.

Uh, Sam? Have you ever seen Porgy and Bess? Have you ever actually heard Summertime before? If you haven't, then you won't understand anything about her performance. Fantasia was flawless. Love you anyway. :-)

I don't think you should have had to have seen the film to get the performance, if it really was as good as everyone was making it out to be, it should stand out on its own merits.

I personally preferred a couple of Fantasia's other performances to that one

I 150% disagree with you about Fantasia. That was one of the best performances I've ever heard on American Idol. It was HAUNTING and she was great. I had chills. She really was flawless. I'm sorry you disagree.

And while I'm not bummed JPL was gone, yes, Stevens did deserve to go before him.

My favorites right now are Diana, Fantasia, George and now Jennifer. She's fucking blown me away these last few weeks. I didn't like her at first, but she has really amazed me. I hope she does well.

I like Jasmine, but she's kinda spiraling downhill lately. She's just been a little off. Not that Diana hasn't gone down a little lately, but I love Diana. I hope she can pull off something really great next week and stick around, because she really deserves to.

If Stevens and LaToya are the next two gone (and I know LaToya won't be, but I'm just saying), then I will be in heaven and anything can happen from there.

My final 4 would be Diana, Fantasia, George and Jennifer.

Dear Sam...do you know the song Summertime? Fantasia sang it correctly. I just thought I would tell you. It's supposed to sound/look that way.
