Aw, Sue. What an awful day! You strike me as a person who's got a lot of patience for setbacks, but all those? In one day? Blecch. Especially that wretched gloss paint; I hate that stuff!!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that tomorrow is so fabulous that it puts this day right out of your memory
( ... )
I hate days like that - nothing to be done but leave it alone, and open a bottle of wine!
Perhaps its too warm for decorating if the paint is drying? Time for something else. Or just train daughter to paint, and sit back and supervise for a while, until the novelty wears off.
Oh, Sue! What an awful day, and Love Actually the final indignation! It'll get better. Just remind yourself of all that you have achieved so far. It's wonderful, you know. I bet you could get Lancashire Life in when it's all done, LOL!

I know nothing about painting, except Peter won't touch gloss paint at all - which is why our doors and frames have never been repainted.
The worst thing for me about your day was the failure of the Love Actually DVD. That would've killed me dead. ;)
