Why, yes, I am.  At least, in a few places - notably, my fingernails and knuckles have a distinct bluish tint.  Not the full-on dark blue I had last time I got out the indigo, but definitely bluish.  Last night, it looked like I'd been engaged in a tickle-fight with a gang of Smurfs.  Ah, fulfilling my dream of being the third Indigo Girl ( Read more... )

We must have a Sock Update!

Thursday I finished up the Coriolis socks.  I love them, of course.  They are a bit on the thick side and the spiral band cuts too close to my instep (due to my own idiotic miscalculation, no fault to the pattern!), so they bunch a little bit in an odd way on the outside of the ankle.  Still, the foot part fits better ( Read more... )

 FINALLY, the big work crush is over.  This was a particularly bad year, so I survived mainly by knitting every chance I got.  I feel like I can breathe again now, and It Is Good.

The red socks are finished!  And, as always, I'm celebrating Sock Day by wearing them to work, with silly shoes that show them off.  Naturally, I've shown them off to everyone from the security guards to my boss, although I have stopped short of accosting random total strangers.
