Kind of want to post the ultimate downer, but it would be a bit mean.

(just posted a f'locked post, so you know who I am!)

I think The Apprentice is the biggest pile of ego-masturbatary toss ever to be given airtime but my partner loves it so I am forced either to watch along or to exile myself from the room.

8 years ago today I made one of the biggest mistakes of my entire life but on the whole I'm content with the consequences.

moral_vacuum is a thoroughly charming devil whom I am very glad to have as a friend. I wish I was able to see him more often.

I wish I could tell several people to fuck off and get over themselves, but don't want to face the consequences for me or for others.

What would the consequences be? Maybe it would be worth it!

Finally I may have met the right person. She doesn't know it yet. It's not my girlfriend. She'll probably never know it because I don't think that I could bear screwing it up for her. And yet....

The strangest thing is that she wants kids, and with her... so do I. I never expected to hear myself say that. I've left it rather late in the day though.

The odds of you guessing who this is are pretty slim, I think, and in fact perhaps you'd better not try!

Hm, interesting; reading between the lines, I'm guessing she's already involved with someone? Or at least has some life situation which might be compromised if you told her how you felt?

I guess you need to figure out whether it's worth the trouble it might cause; if she really is the right person for you, and if you're the right person for her, perhaps you owe it to yourself to give things a go?
