I'd pay good money to see Terry Wogan torn apart by a team of wild horses.

That's not really a secret, though. More like an Amazon wishlist.

How about an Amazonian Eurovision entry that he'd dissed?

If you are doing someone a favour, it is beyond annoying if their diva demands make Mariah Carey look like the winner of Ms Simpertastic Pushover 2009.

Gin and tonic all round? I think so!

This is very true.

And now several people on my f-list (me included!) are thinking back to the favours people have done them, and hoping your comment isn't about them! :-)

There is a person whose behaviour makes me feel annoyed and aggravated. They've not done things to me personally, but to people I care about. I don't like knowing what an utter schmuck they are, and not being able to say anything, because it's information I'm not supposed to know in the first place.

There are a couple other people whose behaviour also leaves me feeling annoyed and aggravated, but because they are hurting themselves. I wish I could kick them up the backsides, but I don't think that would do any good, either.

With regard to the first thing; if it's secret information you're not supposed to have, are you sure you have the full story? I know I've been in a situation where I was told a super-seekrit thing about someone, which made them seem like a horrible person, but I've later found out the rest of the story, which mitigated or in some cases totally refuted the original information.

As for the second thing, if they're your friends, perhaps it would be worth a bit of butt-kicking, or at least a tactful version of same; a true friend is someone who can say the things we don't necessarily want to hear, but need to.

Signing up for Dreamwidth was a complete waste of my time.

I can't say this surprises me very much. Perhaps it will improve though?

I have a code, but haven't got round to doing anything with it. Not least because "Dreamwidth" is a bloody stupid name.

That would be nice, but only works if the people actually stay anonymous. See me for example, the newest thing I'm venting about is something I'll just link you to my LJ for and that would instantly-out me anyway.
