This was my third time in 4 years seeing The Colbert Report taped. I've had awesome fun the past two times and last night was no exception.

Great taping report! I've seen comments from a lot of recent taping attendees that the wait before going into the studio is getting longer and longer. You got out of there really late. I think the latest I've ever gotten out of a taping is just before 8 pm. But anyway, excellent pic of you and Stephen!

Total change of topic: are you going to a Mets game while you're here?

It makes me think of that West Wing quote "is it longer or will it just seem longer?" hehe. I know it was longer/later than the past two times though.

I plan to, of course. Not sure when though.

Thank you so much for writing up a report! You know it's a good day when there is a taping report available to read. I'm really impressed you ran all that way, that fast. When I went, my sisters left for a while and almost didn't get back in time. A really nice staff member made an exception and let them in even though the doors were closed. I'll never forget that.

I actually got caught writing something on the wall! Juan the security guard was really nice about it though. He told me that he didn't actually "see" it happen but he could have checked the security tape and have me thrown out if he wanted to. He also offered to get my sisters Wriststrong bracelets if they wouldn't have made it back in time. Stephen has a never ending group of incredibly kind people working for him. :)

I'm impressed too. I was just so intent to get there so that kept me going. I wouldn't want to miss Colbert, especially as getting tix is nigh on impossible. However all the stand-bys got in that night.

Wow that's so nice of them letting your sister and her friend in. Stephen really does have a great staff. I'm not sure which security guard it was last night giving me updates but I've decided I really like him for that.
