Well this is it, I'll be MIA for the next few days. I'll be soaking up sun, taking in the wildlife, and in general relaxing away from a computer. I'm sure I'll miss it, but I will survive, LOL! I'll check on all of you first chance I get!

Today is my honey's big day. And he's off with the kiddo. they're having breakfast and working around the house. Going to Lowe's... which in itself can be an all day project, LOL. The party came off well. I was up till midninght on Friday then back up at 6:30 on Saturday, but I got everything ready I could, then went to cover for Jim at the shop so he could get beer and whatever. A close friend of mine has taken on a new duty. He's been writing for quite some time now, but as of yet hasn't sold his first novel. He has had some poetry published, and articles in a local magazine (along with some awesome pictures I took of him ( Read more... )

Saturday was my first child's 21st birthday! I can still picture this little two year old, curly haired cutie sitting on my knee drawing barflies... don't ask, at two you don't get explanations...
