Breakfast Taco
I am eating the best breakfast taco ever called the Don Juan. Yummy! It's so big, I might not need lunch. -
The end of the internship
So, we are all headed to NYC on Friday. I do not feel ready AT ALL. Rewired the car stereo this weekend, and the sound is so much better (OK the Texan did it all, I just supervised. Ha ha). Spent most of the weekend sick, so I am glad to be feeling a lot better. -
Weekend Update
Had another awesome weekend. The Texan and I went to see the American Reperatory Ensemble perform on Friday night. Some of the pieces were great, but some of them were really weird. On Saturday we went to this cheesy dinner theater performance. That was OK, but we found this great wine bar right around the corner and had a flight of champagne ( Read more... ) -
Regional Food
The really cool thing about living in different parts of the US is all the different regional dishes that available. Not in the sense, that Texas has good BBQ, but the other dishes that are less well known, but still very regional. In Detroit all the bakeries make Paczkis for fat Tuesday, and here in Austin, people eat Kolache for breakfast ( Read more... ) -
Relaxing Weekend
I had a relaxing weekend. Went out on Friday night, but by the time the Texan and I got to the bar, the band had already finished. We spent Sunday afternoon with his family hanging out by his parent's pool and having Fajitas. That was really nice ( Read more... ) -
Hotel Living
It's been interesting living a hotel for an entire summer. The majority of the people are either corporate, or people getting their houses remodeled. There is a large group at my hotel that is actually running their own business out of the hotel. I think they sell tools, but it's not really clear.
