every year in July and August, the monsoon rains come to Tucson, providing a brief respite from the extreme heat. after three straight weeks of 112º+ degrees F every single day, two days ago the monsoons finally started. we haven't gotten enough rain, but at least it's something. of course, compared to their namesake (the rainy season in India ( Read more... )

well, Oliver and I are in Tucson right now, and we've been productive. now we're working on a new, more high-tech version of the Feltch Club website with Flash and CSS and JavaScript and stuff like that. it will be awesome.

Bush said today that we need to eliminate our dependence on fossil fuels. wait, what!?!? i agree with that! fossil fuels are a primary cause of global warming and air pollution. the health of our world, not to mention our "national security", depends on eliminating this destructive and wasteful addiction ( Read more... )
