Why does seeing a post about a girl hanging out with a pig and then cursing about pigs in her next post make me shake my head?? Sorry, just had to say it

i think i like falling off cliffs. i must be a masochist! sorry. the little i do know about you which i admit is not much at all leads me to believe that you say things because you believe them to be true. and most times they are.
Yeah, I've been guilty of falling as well even though I saw it coming 100 miles away. Perhaps it bothers me because it reminds me of my own flaws. Sometimes things or situations will blind me or make me not want to acknowledge what could and probably will happen.
"I don't have anything against my friends who are Christian, but it bothers me that the base of their religion would say things of that nature."
It doesnt neccesarily say all that. but it is a book of parables. and like any book of parables, you tend to draw your own conclusions based on your own experiences and individual beliefs and paranoias. My whole theory is that the majority of christians (unlike myself) tend to come looking to accept God due to a large amount of insecurity about themselves...to fill a spot in them that filled with fear, and rejection. nfortunately they tend to take this insecurity with them into interpreting things in the bible, and social groups that are not part of normal society take the blame.
there are other reasons as well, but thats for a theology class.
