Just support actually. You can still use those OSs but there won't be support for them if you run into a problem.

After the patch it simply did not work on my ME computer. Just takin' info from what I see.

No need to. It's not like I care. My XP computer here runs it fine, and besides that, I don't play the game.
As for the other WoW players in the house, my mom already took the easy way out and bought XP. Go figure, no hesitation when she needs it. *cough* but I digress.
