Gotta love HC basketball. Who woulda thunk? HC women take the Patriot title and are therefore taking the band with them on a free trip to somewhere for more basketball!! I wish I could have been at the game :( Anyway, YEAHH CROSS!

Ahhh noooo! So the band trip to Lafayette is canceled for this weekend. How depressing. Our director, who is new and still learning how we do things, canceled our bus and hotel reservations yesterday before practice when he heard that Lafayette wouldn't give us time on the field during halftime. All in all, this weekend was pretty decent... I went home and got to see my family and grandparents. It was nice to just get away from HC for a bit and relax. Sometimes it's hard to see when we are here, but in all honesty, Mt. St. James is a bit of a fantasy world. I must say, it's a very nice fantasy world, but it's illusion just the same.
