Hubby HATES it when I do this, but: this ep of Bones starts with five minutes of Dr Brennan complaining about the scientific inaccuracies in the “Bones Movie”, and then goes ON to have a “scientist” manually inject an unprepared sample directly into the port of a GCMS (when the machine clearly has its own automated injection tower) and then have it ( Read more... )

I know what you mean! There comes a point when I fail to suspend my disbelief and get irritated!!

It drives me insane, and it gives the public the frustrating and inaccurate picture that we can conjure up science miracles in seconds, when nothing could be further from the truth. It's even worse when doctors (who should know better - they should learn it in medical school, if not on their arrival at their first hospital) expect similar impossible miracles from us on a daily basis.
