I'm going to start bringing salads for lunch in addition to the soup I've been eating (I'll be bringing smaller portions of soup). I prefer a simple oil & vinegar dressing, applied when I eat it, not in advance. Small plastic containers aren't all that liquid-proof. I found that no container is truly leakproof, so I would bring a larger bottle and leave it in the fridge at work.

I've transported these when they were full of the liquid they are designed to hold. Believe me, they are not leak proof.

Placing container in ziplock bag works well :-)
