Had a nice chat with my boss. He and HR did notice some oddities from last night (Yay!).
He asked if I needed to "Talk" with HR...
I said..."Well, she already has the warning shot, so No."

And this is why I do not go to such functions. I don't enjoy them when guarded, and it is too dangerous for me to be unguarded. (As in: I might tell people that they're stupid rather than just thinking it).

Office Parties are the Black Ops of office politics, as opposed to the general political battlefield of the day-to-day office. Only had one employer where that wasn't the case.
