Big Bug!
So, I come into work yesterday and I look up on my window and there sits this large fly. I have never seen anything like it before and had to look it up. For any of you who want to know, it's a Dobson Fly. Very interesting bug. It's very docile unless provoked. And yes, it will use those pinchers when upset. They say it will draw blood.

Luke AFB is west of Phoenix and is rapidly being surrounded by
civilization that complains about the noise from the base and its
planes, forgetting that it was there long before they were. Apparently,
an individual who lives somewhere near Luke AFB wrote the local paper
complaining about a group of F-16s that disturbed his/her day at the

Kurt and I had a wonderful anniversary. We married off my best friend on the same weekend we were married, and we saw Kurt's mom through her 50th birthday, then we left for our little trip to celebrate. I'll have to put some pictures up when I get a chance.
