Today, a bomb went off in a bus along a major thoroughfare near my office building. Two are dead and 18 are injured. Despite repeated warnings by the US and other governments that a terrorist attack was imminent in our city, it was just one of those things that was hard for us to believe. thanks so much. the resulting traffic was horrendous. obviously i'm concerned about those that died and those that were really badly injured. it's just been a bad 2 weeks for public transport here. there were accidents on the metro as well, two accidents in one week, and people are starting to panic a bit. it's forcing people to take to their cars which obviously adds to the traffic snarl (and the whole snarliness it makes the commuting public).
