look, i'm very close to having a permanent address and some sort of stable existence, don't go confusing me now. are you still on for cd/tape/paper trading?

is that some sort of foul grog? or some stewed prunes and milk confectionary? what do you mean, man?

Happy Birthday, little cow. You sound peaceful. Good.

thankee and nay. it's a whirlwind of disaster and disappointment, this humdrum dropout lifestyle. you'd love our little house though, which hopefully will be worth the financial acrobatics. you should write me a story of something little in the city, and with it send a working email address so i can unreel more unrelated jumbles to you.

Durned kids today. We didn't act like that when I was a youngun. halfwitamerican July 23 2004, 22:29:04 UTC
Stay the hell off my property or I'll call the law! ::shakes rake menacingly::

(you sound down right "bear"-ish. Hope it doesn't stick!)

now all i have to do is dig a basement out under the house, put an armchair and some severed animal heads in it, and i'll be set!

ps- is it more proper to wander out on occasional raids or to wait in the burrow until provoked by slight noises?

I think it all depends on the situation. Mostly, they are too fond of sitting on their ass to get up and raid anything. However, bears usually leave their burrow to poop (which is a frequent and unpleasant business) so if they get distracted while above ground, I imagine they'd wander off to eat and kill things.

I don't know if you are menacing enough to be a good bear, though. Maybe "honorary marmot" status is more fitting :)

a long time ago i very much meant to reply to your comment, but i didn't. I wandered over your words a great deal but found no words that equaled the right thing to say. so i am commenting now after another one of your lovely comments have been placed in my journal, which at first confused me, but then seemed very educated thus making me realize that i have much to learn.

and so i clicked onto your journal for this entry. and i have no prunes but can easily get to johnson city and a walmart if prunes would be a sufficient thing to bring, only, i don't think i'm considered an "old person" and so i would say i'm not invited. but if you were to have a party for the younger ones i'd be happy to go. and really, i don't see how 24 is considered "old." =\

i am around johnson city every once in awhile and so i might see you around sometime. though of course i'd never know it.
this is all for now. -the jonesborough girl (who really lives in Gray/Sulpher Springs, but her address still says jonesborough)

sadly, i really do like eating prunes, though i wouldn't really suggest them for party consumption. also, i wouldn't disqualify anyone from party attendance based on age, i just meant that i don't really enjoy loud out of control hullaballoo as much as i once did. whenever we get around to having the party you're certainly welcome- just be warned that my friends are all dorks, computer science majors and engineers, and a fun night for us is fixing a big dinner and then drinking copious amounts of wine and playing pictionary. it gets wild beyond belief.

i'll keep my calendar open for such a night. *smiles* whoever said there was something wrong with pictionary? i'm sure it... could... get wild, right? =)

i don't know that i'm so welcome on the female end (in fact i know that i'm quite unwelcome) but i'd be happy to get you a box of oatmeal cream pies. and happy birthday, manboy. maybe one day you'll grow up. until then, keep gluing things to other things, and one of these days i'll come demand you make me another sandwich. i'd say i love you, too, but that'd make all sorts of people mad, so i won't.

by the way, the lines of communication are open. you know my address.
