I am gone to far away and I don't know where you are. Trapped in a big city full of noise and strangers and waiting to be stressed to the point of breaking, but I won't fall yet. Contented by my struggles. Broken by my nightmares. Contradictions chase away my plans. But the wireless internet and free liquor make it all worth while. Don't they?

here i am! in johnson city, i smell like the greasy food i've been purveying all day, spending all my money to make the rent on a tiny blue house, maybe a little less crazy than before, but a lot happier. wireless internet and free alcohol will doubtlessly only lead to trouble, but take what comfort you can. i miss you and wish you weren't so far away, but you can still make me smile across the distance. you are who you will become. you're the fire. just please don't burn out.

thank you for writing me! i'll try to get back over here when i have actual leisure time to say something more coherent- and check my email more often than every few weeks!

of course not! but the hq has a tendency of moving, not always with my permission. however, this is now definitely the new home of swampwater, which you are assuredly still in good standing with. now, we just need to pull a meeting together sometime and see what we come up with. but firstly, issues:
yahoo will not let me in at all, so i can't mail you just now, and two,
holly and i have tried to call you a few times in the last couple of weeks (well, last week, this week has been a desolate blur of crap) and gotten nothing. when are you home? where are you? what's that smell?
can you call sometime? i get off at either 2 or 4 most every day.
you should come over and check out the new pad.
