I just finished the book Brighton Rock by Graham Greene, and just like with God of Small Things, I didn't like it until the last pages, in which my entire outlook on the book changed and made me feel like it was worth reading after all. A nice feeling.

Today was a really fucking good day.

So my "evening at home" last night did not quite go as planned. As in, I didn't stay home. Going out was probably more fun though.

I should update since I haven't for a while, and my worth as a human being is marginally dependent on my livejournal posts. How pathetic. Not that I haven't been busy. My days have been filled with trying to teach 5-7 year olds how to paint/draw/work with clay. In a class of 16, 1 girl had real talent, a couple had potential. The rest were filler. ( Read more... )

I got to play violin for 2 and a half hours today. Community Choral fest, baby. It was fun because I like most of the music, but by the end of it my back really hurt.

I got an awesome dress for 3 dollars at Value Village today. It's black with black lace over it, almost full length. It's quite pretty, but I may have to alter it a little bit. Still ( Read more... )
