My heart was broken when my dad turned to me with a stream of tears running down one side of his face and said "you know you were his favorite." To see my dad at a loss of words and the inability to speak in front of everyone was so hard and I can't even imagine how he felt.. he's lost his family and he didn't say goodbye.. so fuck cancer
