I was just wondering....why is Sweeney the bottom a lot of the time? I just always imagine him as the top, what with his shiny murderous blades. I just wanted to hear your opinions, out of curiosity, why do you look at Mr Todd as the bottom? :D

I don't get that either. But, looking at his character again, he takes it from Lovett like a little bitch, so why not from another man? I think he's a switch though. I mean, its so awesome when he gets that look on his face and you just know you or whoever is going to get fucked up. Like in the final scene, where he gets up and starts singing with Lovett and motioning for her to come to him, it gives me the chills.

I think I filtered out the vulnerable points because I found the aggressive ones more appealing. ^^ Oh, that brain of mine.

I like the whole idea of a struggle for power. His vulnerability and unwillingness to totally give in to it, I think make him a fun character to play around with regarding that theme. The aggr. traits are always more interesting though, don't know why though. Yay for variation. lol.

Todd is one of those magnificently ambiguous position characters. He could be a seme (on top), but he's just as likely to be an uke (on bottom).

Personally, he's too sensitive to be a seme. I think his natural state is either on his back or on his stomach.
