Okay. After a full day of drama, I finally exist again.

When I was adopted, a new birth certificate was filed for me in 1988. My original was kept in 1982. They didn't file the two together.

It took a call to the DA, but I have a birth certificate again.

And it didn't get swept to sea. They just filed it wrong.

At any rate- crisis over.

Yay.

I was finally able to wear my contacts today- yayness!

Sent for my birth certificate- it turns out that between moving 3 times it got lost somewhere. So when that comes in next week, I can file my passport application. It excites me.

It's been kind of mundane and time constrained lately, but life is still good.

I took a really huge step this weekend. My family knows about the boy. But even bigger than that, so does Rachelle. I'm proud of me.
