So, I've had gatherings on my mind a lot lately. January and February are just so darn boring... and COLD. I feel the need to have something to look forward to. I don't have any books to read lately. Unless seniorslayer has a book coming out I won't pay full price for books. I hate used books. BJs has a nice discount on paperbacks, I usually get my ( Read more... )

They are in your head AND you want to go everywhere you read about. Ha!

Baltimore would be cool...

Hee! And this isn't the first time. This has happened with them before. There was something on my mind about Jodi and the Girls and in that month's issue there were TWO mentions of Bloomsburg and another Jodi related thing. Freaky!! Ha!

Yeah. Books, authors, crap like that. You know, smart stuff. *snerk*

Indeed! You are on my list of people that do like smart stuff. Hee!

I just keep needing to remind myself that you are also now on my list of people that have transpo and might be interested in away gatherings! Ha!

I'll keep you informed! HUGS!

Depending on when it is, I'm in! I love Hartford and haunted... I also have a rate code for a cheap room at Foxwoods MGM so maybe kill two birds with one stone?

Ooh, that may be useful!
I was disappointed to find the Ghost Tours are only through January and only on Friday nights. Getting our people to Hartford by a certain time on a Friday would be impossible. But I'm keeping an eye on it. Hopefully if the tours go well they'll continue.

Right now I'm nailing down the Allentown in March and Scary Sixteen party in early November details. Eddie is just walking around *sigh*ing... loudly. Hee!

Not to burst a bubble, but Foxwoods is around an hour from Hartford. Not sure how much the kids would stand being in the car all that while (drive up/back and then out to Foxwoods) If it was just the "grown ups" and older kids, I think we'd be ok. Unless you think it'd work out.

I'm in for *either* part of the state or both.

I can probably do some leg work for you too, seeing that I'm in the state and all. Just lemme know!!

No bubbles burst. I didn't think Foxwoods would be very kid-friendly anyway (even without the added drive) but "cheap" is always interesting. *g* I tend to clump my things together as much as possible. I'm sure we can find lots of stuff in/around Hartford.

I'll definitely keep you informed. Thanks! HUGS!
