This is the hardest time of year for me. This is the time of year when the hardest memories and the worst thoughts come flooding back to me. Tonight the thoughts that are going through my head are that she trusted me. She trusted me to take care of her and keep her safe and I let her down.

The tears won't stop.

We're entering Harmattan season here and it sucks. The rainy season is just gorgeous.  Thunder showers every day which keeps it rather cool.   But now it's going to be hot, dry and dusty.

So I got married this weekend. Very surreal, hard to believe it happened, particularly when you are back at work in another state on Monday. I will say though that I am very blessed to have him in my life and to finally be his wife.
