Mega Huge Kinda Random Post!

I've been the worst LJ-er EVAR!

I've missed birthdays and anniversaries and haven't answered comments - I suck ass. But I've been wrasslin' with real life, trying to sleep through the month from hell (August), quit AA and instead am now using Rational Recovery, which is a GOOD thing. I'm proud to say this is the longest I've gone without a drink in ( Read more... )

Now, I am certain that you've seen these, but just in case you haven't -

1. Total Eclipse - in which Leonardo di Caprio and David Thewlis make like they're artistes, dahlink, and bonk like mad bunnies. Strangely unpleasant to watch - this could be because they are actually both rather unpleasant characters - but quite involving all the same.

2. Velvet Goldmine - in which Christian Bale shags Ewan McGregor, and Ewan McGregor shags Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and there is much glitter. I like this one, primarily because a large number of the random glamour boys that run around in the crowd scenes actually went to my school. They didn't get me Christian Bale's number, though. Bastards.

3. The Pillow Book - in which Ewan McGregor once again gets naked and shags blokes, this time for the benefit of his author girlfriend. Also, there is necrophilia. Who could ask for more?

4. Quills - not precisely gay, but very sexy all the same, we have Geoffrey Rush as de Sade being far too tempting for poor Joaquin Phoenix's priestly mind. Sadism (heh) ( ... )

Yay, recs! I have seen Peter's Friends and loved it. I'd love to see Rome, but alas, no HBO for us.

Thanks!

I thought I heard Rusty the other morning but I only caught a snippet - is he holding his own with Rick and Brad?

I did blow you off because I was repeatedly watching Nekkid!Josh saying 'I love you, man' on the Lost bloopers. AND Naveen Andrews makes out with Terry O'Quinn, you MUST see them.

Oops, I left out the important part - Josh was saying 'I love you, man' to Foxy. Can RPS be canon?

Also/ I think that thing is looking at me.

In Stephen King's dreamcatcher - which was my holiday 'no braincells required' reading - there are shit-weasels. That is, unmistakeably, a cock-weasel.

Wow, did you ever go on a gay adventure. Hee hee. Books, movies. Hee hee. Sounds like a good way to keep yourself busy. :)

I'm so glad you're taking care of yourself sweetie. And if you have to leave LJ for a while to do that, then that's what you should do, and you shouldn't feel bad about it. I always know that you have a good reason and that you'll eventually be back to tell us all about it. :) *loves* Take care of yourself first, we can wait.

I guess the only thing of note that's happened to me is that I started college. :D

As much fun as school can be. :) It's a lot more work, tons of walking, but I get to get up a lot later then high school, which is a god-send for me because I am not, not, not a morning person.
