What's the difference between an under graduate and a graduate?

I'm looking at tuition costs at the college I'll be transfering too (ouch) and it says "cost for under graduate" and "cost for graduate" do I need to be an under grad to be a grad? I don't get it.... someone wanna help their stupid friend Lexy out? Please? :)

i might be wrong so dont take my word on it but I'm thinking that your undergrad is basically your 4 years in college. You take your core classes(math, english, etc) plus the classes you need for your major. That's your undergrad. Grad would be basically after you have your degree in whatever and you are continuing school. hope that helps:\

That does help!! I hope that's right, because undergrad tuition is a LOT cheaper than grad tuition!!!
I'm transfering to Columbia College in downtown Chicago.
