hello! im not sure if you read the headcannon or not, but here's a short explanation:

the ending is supposed to be ambiguous. i wanted the readers to think about it themselves, like whether or not the entire story was just a children's fairytale, or if it actually happened. however, in my mind, this did happen. kai later found black again, perhaps in a different universe, in a different time era, after thousands of years have passed, and black appeared again. then, they became friends again, and possibly even more.

i hope that cleared stuff up somewhat? :DD
