I'm not a complementer by nature, but I must say that your color photography is some of the most impressive amateur color photography that I've seen in years. The colors are so vivid that they often seem unreal.
Thank you! Oddly enough, I usually stick to black-and-white, 35mm SLR, but as I don't have dark room access at the moment, I've been playing around ith my mother's digital camera. I really can't take credit for the wonderful colors -- North Carolina is simply beautiful. The sun seems to infuse everything into heavy saturation. But thank you, just the same. I love taking photographs, so it's nice to hear that I do it well.
I miss you toooo. I am sad that I didn't get to go to the Harry and the Potters concert with you, either. I don't know if I'll visiting or not, I'm still trying to figure it out, find cheap plane tickets, etc. I'll be calling you soon to talk about possible dates. I'm still sniffing too, but I kind of knew it, all along. P.S. I bought an Iceland book!
Oh man, you would have enjoyed Harry and the Potters in concert so very much! But, hey, you'll probably get another chance to see them since you'll be going to school so close to their hometown.
Yeah, Lindsay and I predicted that he would be the one to die after only like three chapters. But still. Uber-sadness. I need to read the book again.
Yay! Iceland book! What's it called?
I really, really want to see you again this summer. :-( If it doesn't work out, well, that's understandable of course. But, yeah, let's at least talk soon.
*points at your icon* I think Chuck Close opened yesterday at the Walker!
P.S. Oh, you'll appreciate this. I had guitar lessons this evening, and Ben told me a story about when he visited Glacier National Park last week: there was one point when he was in this huge field of wildflowers, absolutely beautiful -- and there was a mother and kid mountain goat in the field! So awesome. He has pictures that he must show me. Haha.
Hi. I love you. • Boston, right? • Me too. Mon frere et moi, we have theories. • A Rough Guide to Iceland? • If you are awake right now, you should call me. Or tell me to call you. Otherwise, tomorrow. • I wanted to hear him talk, so much. I will meet that man someday. • Beautiful. We have a meadow and we are going to sow wildflower seeds in it this spring and you should come visit and I will have dogs then and they are going to be weimaraners and I miss you lots. • <3
