All of this coincidence lately is startling. It bothers me a little. Seriously odd.

b) Chuck Close! He is my user picture. Also, there is going to be a big Chuck Close exhibit at the Walker, as soon as it re-opens. I've known this for a while, but still! I am excited!

I dreamt that I sat in a rocking chair and rose-colored spiders flew together in spirals like saucers. They were orbiting, going nowhere and they made dandelion fluff in the air. I tried not to breathe it in, but when I left the child was gone.

This is simply a record of the fact that Lars von Trier is bound to make me wacky, always, and thus should not be watched alone, in the wee morning hours. My current emotional state is pretty baffling. I would thoroughly recommend Dogville, if only because it's a pretty excellent example of Brechtian cinema and will give you a hell of a lot more ( Read more... )

I have been pulling all-nighters since I was twelve. That's completely absurd.

Tomorrow is the final day of classes before spring break. I'm not sure that I can make it. My entire body aches. Two more papers tonight.
