if u need the money badly, suck it up and keep the job. if you don't, you can ask for a reevaluation of your pay rate, highlighting your experience. or you can just quit and go back to square one.

I guess maybe they figure that if you've stuck around and put up with all their disorganised crap up until now then you're going to live with what you've given. It wouldn't surprise me if they've put nearly everyone that they possibly can in the very bottom of the range (more profits obviously).

Stick around while you try to find another job but make some whinging noises about how crap the pay and hours are for you and maybe someone will do something about it. Overall it depends whether you enjoy working with kids enough to put up with the crap.
