Turning into a hermit.
Noooooo! I kept putting off signing up for the La Jolla Half Marathon and now there are no spots left. bah. It might be just as well, since I'm seriously not ready for it. There's always next year for that particular race, and there are a few more all over California later in the year. Time to look into those and keep training ( Read more... ) -

The Israeli twins I used to play with in elementary school did turn out to be military types. I'd always suspected, even then, that they would join the military in one form or another. Still, it seems strange to have this knowledge, as they exist in my memory as skinny, mischievous brothers, changing places in classes and not being caught until one ( Read more... ) -
New thing #2: new, sort of weird foods.
I had dim sum with my family this weekend in celebration of my aunt's birthday and cousin's visit from Boston. My dad and I usually share a serving of tripe (don't judge, haters, it's delicious), but this time, something was different.
