It was leaps and bounds better than last year's premiere. I know I'm in the minority with that one, but I really disliked "Lazarus Rising" and I still do. I remember feeling SO disappointed at the end of the episode, and that feeling kinda stuck around all season. I feel much differently about S5's premiere, "Sympathy For the Devil".

Lazarus Rising was last year's premiere not Lucifer! :D I was totally confused at first O_o!

Aww really?? I loved Lazarus Rising. I thought plenty of other eps from s4 were fairly subpar but the premiere was one of the best of the series, in my opinion! That's unfortunate to hear :0(

I thought Sympathy for the Devil was pretty good and in a way more exciting, I'm very excited about Lucifer, but I still prefer Lazarus overall. I did HATE the girl they got to play Meg. If they bring her back - as it seems like they might now that they've introduced her - I really, really hope they get someone who plays her more like the original girl. Last week's Meg was painful for me to watch.

Can't wait for tonight though!

Oh and I agree, Chuck is amazing. I adore him. I definitely hope he hangs around until the end of the show.
