i just saw a preview for the new "strangers with candy" movie and I am excited for a variety of reasons.

1. I still can't believe the actress is David Sedaris' sister.
2. The preview used music from Le Tigre.
3. Stephen Colbert is in it.

Yeah, that's about it.

Yay! Tommy Z won his fight! Way to show them that the Irish know how to fight!

In other news I leave for GSP today...I'm excited and of course, a little scared.

I've been thinking about things lately. It's weird how distance gives you perspective. But I didn't think this would happen again this summer...

This weekend was fun, but a bad weekend for sports, in my opinion. Friday I went to the ND- College of Charleston baseball game. It rained the whole time which kinda sucked. So, I guess a few note-worthy things have happened. Most recently, a tree a few houses down was struck by lightning and caused damage to four houses. If you live by me, you know how freakin' huge those trees are. Massive. Two years ago, this week, actually, one of them fell across Eastern Parkway. It's kinda strange.
