U.S. Nationals Day 1: Pairs Short Programs
I arrived in Afton, MN on Wednesday at about 4:00 p.m. and checked into the Bed & Breakfast. Most people haven't ever heard of Afton. It's about 13 miles east of St. Paul, just off I-94. The distracting couple you were talking about - I think their names and Marcy and Derek. I could be remembering wrong, but I think that is who they are. I remember talk about their 'mirror' jumps and spins.

So glad to see that you are reading along and enjoying it as well! Hopefully I'll make a bit of progress on the Men's report before falling asleep. It was a great competition tonight, as you'll see tomorrow on NBC. And of course, Paul was inducted into the Hall of Fame! I don't know if they'll show any of that on TV -- the cameramen left their posts. But have no fear, my camera takes videos... :)
