2009 Nationals Day 4: Friends of Figure Skating Breakfast & Mens Finals

Despite the massive disorganization and lack of communication on the part of United States Figure Skating, I was able to confirm my ticket on Monday -- two days before flying out here -- for this year's Friends of Figure Skating Breakfast. Way to go on finally meeting the man. I guess our perceptions are better than reality sometimes eh? I can sort of understand not wanting to be bothered but he has NO CLUE regarding "the quest". Perhaps it was a good thing I wasn't there or my lips may have engaged before my brain to form the words "Kiss my big fat butt in the middle of Broadway buddy. This kid has been waiting for this moment more than half her life. Shut up, stand there and smile like you are enjoying yourself." Click. Ah I feel better now.
