And evidently im not so good at posting entries via cell phone. just wanted to update the countdown... 8 days until my due date! and jay finally agreed to some sexy time night before last and it brought on some fierce contractions and cramps but no baby :( i ended up going to the doctor yesterday instead of today because of them. no progress... Good luck! These days close to the due date are always nerve-wrecking! Just remember things can change pretty suddenly. I was around 1cm on Thursday, went into labor Friday and had Finn on Sunday morning. It can change quite quickly!

at 39 weeks I got checked for the first time, I was 25% effaced but not dilated at all, still way high up there the ol' cervix was.
at 40 weeks I got checked for the second time, 75% effaced, softened a bit but still quite high. Gave birth at 41 weeks, the day I was scheduled to go in for an "induction consultation"
GO TO 41 WEEKS if you have to, honestly much nicer to go into labor on your own that induced. They officially can't make you have an induction until 10 days, and really, they can't officially do shit. In Canada they let you go 7-10 days overdue then recommend induction

Honestly, keep with the sexy vibes, nipple stimulation, happy vibes, walk a lot, drink lots of water and sleeeeep these last weeks away baby!
