I rang in the New Year at Stephanie's party. It had its highs, lows, and teenage melodrama (but none that i was involved in). The night wouldn't have been complete without Steph's weird U.S. relatives, so, thankfully, the party had that, too. I came home at around 1:30AM because i didn't really want to sleep over and we all opened presents.

OMG YOU READ I CAPTURE THE CASTLE!!

About the "making love" bit, I actually looked it up (because I was confused too), and back then it meant to "make out" with someone.

And I had the same reaction you did. I hated the end because I really really really wanted Cassandra and Stephen to get together, it just seemed so right. I agree about her all of a sudden 'loving' Simon after just one kiss, but I chalked it up to the fact that she is a very sheltered young lady (she lives in a castle out in the countryside, how sheltered can you get?) and relies heavily on Jane Austen novels for her romance advice. So there ya go.

You need to see the movie now!!

i'm hoping it rent it tomorrow :)
you know how when you read a book with a distinct format or style, you start thinking in that way? all the flowery, descriptive language actually made me think in my head yesterday "that boy certainly is fetching." haha, i want to try writing like her but it's just so outdated that i would be dishonest.
